Hen and chick / Sempervivum

Sempervivum is a cute succulent with beak like leaf tips. This hard desert plant is commonly known as Hen and chick or houseleeks.  It needs very loose soil. Water once in 5 days when soil becomes totally dry. It will go well with a ceramic planter. The babies growing under the mother plant will look like chicks under the hen.
